Food Stamp "Fall into Healthy Behaviors"
Regional Conference, Cambridge, MA

During this fiscal year a major presentation on cultural issues surrounding childhood obesity was delivered by FNP-IT at the Food Stamp "Fall into Healthy Behaviors" regional conference, Cambridge, MA, September 22, 2000. This conference was attended by about 400 individuals mostly from WIC, school food service areas, and the Food Stamp Program who were taught step by step how to use needs assessments and evaluations to develop and implement culturally competent nutrition education programs that address childhood obesity.
